In a meeting of the Uttar Pradesh ministers chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday, a resolution was passed expressing profound grief over the sudden demise of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
The Council of Ministers described the death of Ajit Pawar and others in the plane crash that occurred in Baramati, Maharashtra, on January 28 as extremely tragic.

The Cabinet expressed its deepest condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the peace of the departed souls.
The Cabinet stated that Pawar’s untimely death is an irreparable loss. Paying tribute to the late Pawar, the Council of Ministers said that in his long public life, he maintained a deep connection with the people of Maharashtra and worked for the welfare of every section of society. His commitment to empowering the poor and underprivileged and to the development of Maharashtra will always be remembered.
